Carmel Convent High School

Carmel Convent High School was initiated by a group of nuns in 1990. It has a significant vast area than any other schools in badlapur. It is the ‘best school’ in Badlapur. The nuns or sisters running the school are from Kerala. This school is a co-ed. school. The school is currently governed by Sister Philo who is very experienced and well know for discipline and strictness. The school staff is very good and keep personal interest in child development. The school is located on the Katrap highway, close to Sun-n-Shade Resort and Indian oil petrol pump and is around 4 1/2 Kms away from the badlapur station. The school is very well disciplined. Its a previlage to get an admission in this school. The current year admission for nursery (academic year 2010-2011) invited overwhelming applications. The admission seats vs applications ratio was 1:4 which itself tells that it is the most sought out school in badlapur due to its reputation of education standard which in par with the best schools in the state and plus the school campus and its facilities.
